Project narrative

At the 10th Confucius Institute Conference on December 6, 2015, the Confucius Institute Headquarters (Hanban) awarded the Nottingham Confucius Institute the "Model Confucius Institute" status. The "Model Confucius Institute" designation is a status that provides an institute with additional funding and possible renovations. Funding is provided by Hanban. An unveiling ceremony of the Nottingham Model Confucius Institute was held on September 6, 2017.
