Project narrative

At the end of 2018, the Chinese Embassy in Ukraine provided a donation to build a poetry garden at Taras Shevchenko National University in Kiev. Specifically, the garden was built to accompany the statues by Wu Weishan, a famous Chinese bronze sculptor, donated by the Chinese Embassy to the university in 2017. (captured via Record ID#98734) On October 9, 2019, the opening ceremony for the China-Ukraine poetry garden was held.
