Project narrative

On April 22, 2019, Ji Yanchi, the Ambassador of China to Georgia, and the Georgian Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture (MEPA), Levan Davitashvil, completed the transfer of equipment to combat the Asian Stink Bug: Parsona. According to an article by the MEPA, the equipment donated by the Government of China will enable industries to combat other diseases impacting agricultural development. The specific equipment and the value of the donation remain unknown.
