Description

On April 1, 2020, the Chinese Government agreed to provide 125,000 pairs of gloves to the Government of Solomon Islands to help combat the Covid-19 pandemic. At the same time, 140,000 surgical masks, 200 protective suits, and 200 thermometers were committed. This commitment was announced at the same time that the SBD 2.5 million grant agreement was signed (captured via Project ID#90109). On April 13, 2020, the supplies were delivered to the Government of the Solomon Islands in Honiara by Shenzhen Oceanus Group.
