Project narrative

On March 27, 2020, the government of China's Shangdong Province provided a second donation of 100,000 masks to the Sarawak State Government in Malaysia. This donation is a part of China's assistance program to Sarawak. According to the Chinese Consulate General in Kuching, this donation was distributed to medical staff on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic. The Shandong province and Sarawak are sister cities. On the same day, the Chinese Consulate in Kuching handed over supplies donated by Fujian Provincial Government (Record ID#90223).
