Project narrative

On May 10th, 2021, anti-pandemic prevention materials assist by the Chinese government to Laos were delivered by a chartered flight to Wattay International Airport in Vientiane. Chinese ambassador Jiang Zaidong handed it over to Ji Qiao, Laos deputy prime minister of the government. This particular batch includes more than 20 items of materials, including ventilators, automatic nucleic acid extraction instruments, medical masks, N95 masks, mobile hospital beds, automatic autoclaves, nucleic acid extraction or purification reagents, and nucleic acid detection kits. Laos appreciates China's aid during this challenging era and believes these materials will provide strong support and guarantee for Laos to win the battle of COVID-19 pandemic prevention and control.
