Project narrative

On June 23rd, 2022, the handover ceremony of the distance education supporting materials was held in Vientiane. The Economic and Commercial Counselor of the Chinese Embassy in Laos, Zhao Wenyu, handed over the materials to Benban, Director of the Planning Department of the Lao Ministry of Education and Sports. The remote education project to Laos is part of the "eight major projects of aid to Laos". The project provides equipments to 20 teaching sites in Laos, including desktop computers, servers, projectors, switchers, recording and broadcasting systems and other electronic education materials. Panson Technology is the contractor. The other part of the project entails the setup of 20 remote education centers and standard settings for IT education in the country (#101655).
