Project narrative

The Confucius Classroom at St Paul's CE Primary School began operations on April 3, 2009; its official establishment was held in July 2008. The Confucius Institute Headquarters (Hanban) awarded the Confucius Classroom status in recognition of the school's achievements in Chinese language and culture education, providing St Paul's CE Primary School with a grant. As a Confucius Classroom, the school has its own local qualified teacher and a Hanban Volunteer teacher who helps with outreach activities.
