The Confucius Classroom at Ysgol Friars was established on June 16, 2017. The Confucius Institute Headquarters (Hanban) awarded the Confucius Classroom status in recognition of the school's achievements in Chinese language and culture education, providing Ysgol Friars with a grant. The Confucius Classroom was running before it was officially opened. The original Confucius Institute project is tracked under Record ID#44294.
