Project narrative

The Confucius Classroom at Alderman White School was established on October 8, 2015 and it was officially opened on October 1, 2016. The Confucius Institute Headquarters (Hanban) awarded the Confucius Classroom status in recognition of the school's achievements in Chinese language and culture education, providing Confucius Classroom at Alderman White School with a grant. Its teachers were carefully selected from China’s Fudan University by Hanban. The Confucius Institute at the University of Nottingham and Nottingham Chinese School supported this Confucius Classroom with resources. The Confucius Classroom was running before it was officially opened. The original Confucius Institute project is tracked under Record ID#44305.
