Project narrative
The Confucius Classroom at St Joseph's College was established in 2010. The Confucius Institute Headquarters (Hanban) awarded the Confucius Classroom status in recognition of the school's achievements in Chinese language and culture education, providing St Joseph's College with a grant. The school has a partner school in Shanghai, China. The Confucius Classroom was running before it was officially opened, having begun operations in December 2009. The original Confucius Institute project is tracked under Record ID#44307.
