On March 25, 2020, PetroChina handed over an MNT 174,690,000 donation (RMB 440,000) to the Government of Mongolia to aid with their fight against the Covid-19 pandemic. The specific branch of PetroChina was PetroChina Daqing Tamuchag Co., ltd. (中石油大庆塔木察格有限责任公司), which is PetroChina's branch in Mongolia.
