The Confucius Classroom at St Mary Magdalene Academy was established on October 15, 2013. The Confucius Institute Headquarters (Hanban) awarded the Confucius Classroom status in recognition of the school's achievements in Chinese language and culture education, providing St Mary Magdalene Academy with a grant.
