The Confucius Classroom at Upton Hall School was officially established as a Confucius Classroom on February 16, 2011. The Confucius Institute Headquarters (Hanban) awarded the Confucius Classroom status in recognition of the school's achievements in Chinese language and culture education, providing Upton Hall School with a grant. The Confucius Classroom was running before it was officially opened. The original Confucius Institute project is tracked under Record ID#44315.
