The Confucius Classroom at Brockenhurst College was officially established as a Confucius Classroom started running on May 26, 2010. The Confucius Institute Headquarters (Hanban) awarded the Confucius Classroom status in recognition of the school's achievements in Chinese language and culture education, providing Brockenhurst College with a grant that provides resource and staff to organize one-day Chinese cultural events and deliver regular after-school clubs on Chinese culture and Chinese language learning to local schools and their pupils.
