Project narrative

The Confucius Classroom at West Lothian started running on April 7, 2009. It is hosted at James Young High School in West Lothian. The Confucius Institute Headquarters (Hanban) awarded the Confucius Classroom status in recognition of the school's achievements in Chinese language and culture education, providing West Lothian with a grant. The Confucius Classroom’s partner school is Tianjin No. 41 High School. The students interacted with students from Tianjin No. 41 High School, China, in Confucius Immersion Trip in 2019. The original Confucius Institute project is tracked under Record ID#44297.
