Project narrative

On December 21, 2020, Ambassador Xiao Jianguo donated 4 infrared thermal imagers and 10,000 masks to the Timor-Leste Ministry of Interior and Department of Immigration. These materials will be used to help front-line border inspectors cope with the risk of imported epidemics. The monetary value of this donation is unknown. A handover ceremony took place for this donation at the Chinese Embassy in Timor-Leste. The Deputy Minister of the East Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Director of Immigration, and Ambassador Xiao Jianguo attended the ceremony.
