Narrative

Full Description

Project narrative

In December 2017, an unknown number of Jordanian officials participated in Hanban’s Educators Delegation to China Program within the Shenyang Normal University. The program was part of the connection between the Confucius Institute Headquarters in Hanban and the Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Confucius Institute (see Record ID#43967). The Educators Delegation to China Program is a two-week program that hosts university presidents, principals, and other important players in the field of education. It teaches the delegates about Chinese language, culture, and educational methods. Hanban also sponsored Jordanian participants in 2016, 2018, and 2019 (see Record ID#89677, #43967, #90678).

Staff comments

The project is linked to Record ID#43967, #8967 and #90687, as they occurred through the same Confucius Institute, and are the same program across differing years.
