Project narrative

On December 19, 2020, Chinese Ambassador to Fiji, Qian Bo, delivered the 210,000 FJD of Tropical Cyclone Yasa aid to Secretary General of the Fiji Red Cross Society, Rokotunidaou. The donation was organized in response to the damage caused by Tropical Cyclone Yasa, a category five storm. The donation is the first tranche under China's pledge of 420,000 FJD in aid to Fiji as emergency relief for the Tropical Cyclone Yasa. The second donation under this pledge is captured in Record ID#91041.
