The Confucius Classroom at Leith Academy was established on February 22, 2013. It is hosted at Leith Academy in City of Edinburgh. The Confucius Institute Headquarters (Hanban) awarded the Confucius Classroom status in recognition of the school's achievements in Chinese language and culture education, providing Leith Academy with a grant. The Confucius Classroom’s partner school is Tianjin No. 1 High School. The Confucius Classroom was running before it was officially opened. The original Confucius Institute project is tracked under Record ID#44297.
