Project narrative
The Confucius Classroom at Dunbartonshire was established in March 2010. It is hosted at St Ninian’s High School, Kirkintilloch in Dunbartonshire. The Confucius Institute Headquarters (Hanban) awarded the Confucius Classroom status in recognition of the school's achievements in Chinese language and culture education, providing St Ninian’s High School, Kirkintilloch with a grant. The Confucius Classroom was awarded Scottish Confucius Classroom of the Year Award in 2014. The Confucius Classroom’s partner school is Tianjin No. 42 High School. The Confucius Classroom was running before it was officially opened. The original Confucius Institute project is tracked under Record ID#44297.
