Project narrative

The Confucius Classroom at East Renfrewshire was established on in March 2010. It is hosted at St Ninian’s High School, Giffnock in East Renfrewshire. The Confucius Institute Headquarters (Hanban) awarded the Confucius Classroom status in recognition of the school's achievements in Chinese language and culture education, providing St Ninian’s High School, Giffnock with a grant. According to Glasgow World, the Confucius Classroom was rated as a top ten Confucius Classroom Hub in 2013. The school's partner school is Tianjin No. 45 High School. The original Confucius Institute project is tracked under Record ID#44297.
