Project narrative

The Confucius Classroom at Aberdeenshire Council was established on June 2, 2016. It is hosted at Ellon Academy in Aberdeenshire. The Confucius Institute Headquarters (Hanban) awarded the Confucius Classroom status in recognition of the school's achievements in Chinese language and culture education, providing Ellon Academy with a grant. The Confucius Classroom was running before it was officially opened, having begun operations on August 31, 2015. The Confucius Classroom’s partner school is Tianjin Dagang No. 1 High School. The original Confucius Institute project is tracked under Record ID#44297.
