Project narrative

The Confucius Classroom at North Lanarkshire began operations on April 7, 2009; its official establishment was held on February 20, 2009. It is hosted at Our Lady's High School, Cumbernauld in North Lanarkshire. The Confucius Institute Headquarters (Hanban) awarded the Confucius Classroom status in recognition of the school's achievements in Chinese language and culture education, providing North Lanarkshire with a grant. The Confucius Classroom’s partner school is Tianjin High School. The original Confucius Institute project is tracked under Record ID#44297.
