Project narrative

The Confucius Classroom at Cross Arthurlie Primary School was established on May 25, 2017. The Confucius Institute Headquarters (Hanban) awarded the Confucius Classroom status in recognition of the school's achievements in Chinese language and culture education, providing Cross Arthurlie Primary School with a grant. This Confucius Classroom was the first primary Confucius Classroom in Scotland. The Confucius Classroom’s partner school is Wanquan Primary School in Tianjin Heping District. The Confucius Classroom was running before it was officially opened, having begun September 29, 2016. The original Confucius Institute project is tracked under Record ID#44297.
