Project narrative

The Confucius Classroom at Braehead Primary School was established on September 21, 2017. The Confucius Institute Headquarters (Hanban) awarded the Confucius Classroom status in recognition of the school's achievements in Chinese language and culture education, providing Braehead Primary School with a grant. The Confucius Classroom was set up as a result of a partnership between Stirling Council and the Confucius Institute for Scotland’s Schools (CISS). The Confucius Classroom’s partner school is Hedong Experimental Primary School. The Confucius Classroom was running before it was officially opened. The original Confucius Institute project is tracked under Record ID#44297.
