The Confucius Classroom at Ysgol Gyfun Emlyn was established on February 17, 2011. The Confucius Institute Headquarters (Hanban) awarded the Confucius Classroom status in recognition of the school's achievements in Chinese language and culture education, providing Ysgol Gyfun Emlyn with a grant. The Confucius Classroom was running before it was officially opened. The original Confucius Institute project is tracked under Record ID#44301.
