Project narrative

On September 21, 2009, a delegation from the Confucius Institute Headquarters (Hanban) visited Bolyai János High School in Kecskemét, Hungary, to discuss the creation of a Confucius Classroom at Bolyai János High School. On October 16, 2009, the Confucius Classroom at the Bolyai János High School was officially opened. The Hanban helped establish the Confucius Classroom at the Bolyai János High School in recognition of the school's achievements in Chinese language and culture education, providing it with additional funding and resources. The classroom was created in partnership between Eötvös Loránd University and Hanban. The Classroom was established in affiliation with the Confucius Institute at Eötvös Loránd University.
