The Confucius Classroom at Gardenrose Primary School was established in 2017. The Confucius Institute Headquarters (Hanban) awarded the Confucius Classroom status in recognition of the school's achievements in Chinese language and culture education, providing Gardenrose Primary School with a grant. The Confucius Classroom’s partner school is Tianjin Anshan Avenue Primary School. The Confucius Classroom was running before it was officially opened on September 29, 2016.
