Project narrative

The Confucius Classroom at Moray Council was established on November 29, 2016. It is hosted at Elgin Academy in Moray. The Confucius Institute Headquarters (Hanban) awarded the Confucius Classroom status in recognition of the school's achievements in Chinese language and culture education, providing Elgin Academy with a grant. The Confucius Classroom’s partner school is Tianjin Hangu No.1 Middle School. The Confucius Classroom was running before it was officially opened having begun operations on August 21, 2015. The original Confucius Institute project is tracked under Record ID#44297.
