Narrative

Full Description

Project narrative

The Independent Confucius Classroom at Ballakermeen High School was established on July 13, 2015. The Confucius Institute Headquarters (Hanban) awarded the Confucius Classroom status in recognition of the school's achievements in Chinese language and culture education, providing Ballakermeen High School with a grant. The Confucius Classroom would deliver exam courses to secondary students, cultural awareness programs to primary pupils, cultural and language sessions to the business sector and community classes in Mandarin. The Confucius Classroom was running before it was officially opened.
