Full Description

Project narrative

On March 19, 2020 (local time), a grant of PPE from the China Gezhouba Group Company Limited (CGGC) arrived in the province of Santa Cruz. The donation included 5,000 masks, 100 protective suits, and 100 pairs of goggles and was handed over to the Government of the Province of Santa Cruz. According to both the Catholic University of Chile's Asian Studies Center (El Centro UC Estudios Asiáticos) and Harvard's Mask Diplomacy Dataset, the value of the donation is estimated to be $3,650 USD.
