Project narrative

On November 6, 2020, the economic counselor of the Chinese embassy, Dong Wei, donated four buses on behalf of the Chinese Government to the municipalities of Montería and Armenia and the governments of Putumayo and Valle del Cauca. The Colombian Ministry of the Interior and representatives from APC Colombia (Agencia Presidencial de Cooperación Internacional de Colombia) also attended the ceremony. According to the Minister of the Interior, the buses were part of a request from April 2015 by the Directorate for Democracy, Citizen Participation and Community Action that was approved by the Chinese Government.
