Full Description

Project narrative

In the week of September 21, 2020, the Xian Provincial Government donated medical supplies to the Alcaldia de Neiva (Mayorship of Neiva) for Covid-19 relief. The supplies included 20,000 surgical masks, 1,000 N95 masks, 500 hazmat suits, 100 protective goggles, and 30 thermometers. The Mayor's office began distributing the supplies by September 29th. In addition, 5,000 face masks were donated for the personnel in the Neiva Mayor's office. The donation was reportedly authorized by the Chinese Government and Xian province in April 2020, but due to transportation and other delays the donation arrived the week of September 21, 2020. Donation locations for the supplies received included Hernando Moncaleano University Hospital.
