Project narrative

On March 31, 2020, Zijin-Continental Gold announced a USD 100,000 grant to strengthen the hospital network in Western Antioquia. In addition, the company announced it would deliver 1,000 gowns, 200 boxes of gloves, 100 protective suits for hospital personnel, antibacterial gel, four protective kits for health care personnel while taking samples or assessing infected patients, and 1,000 N95 masks. Also, the San Juan de Dios Hospital, located in Santa Fe de Antioquia, will receive four vital signs monitors for capnography, and the local hospitals of Buriticá, Giraldo and Cañasgordas will be equipped with blood detection tests for Covid-19. Exact dates of delivery are unknown.
