Project narrative

On May 14, 2020, the Chinese Government donated medical supplies to the Suriname Ministry of Health. The handover ceremony of this donation was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Suriname. Ambassador Liu Quan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Suriname, Minister of Health of Suriname, Elias, and representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Health of Suriname attended the ceremony. The donation arrived in Suriname in early May, mainly including N95 masks, medical protective clothing, and medical isolation goggles. The value of this donation is not specified, but the purpose of this donation is to help Suriname in fighting against the pandemic.
