Description
In October 2020, the Chinese Government began providing grant funds to the Ecuador World Vision Foundation for the Riobamba Area Program. A total of USD $319,771.08 was committed for the project as of February 2023, with USD $7,657.64 disbursed in 2020 and USD $110,505.91 disbursed in 2021. The project itself will run from October 1, 2021 to September 30, 2031, with the aim of improving the well-being of children and adolescents in neighborhoods and communities of the Riobamba area. The program's coverage will be 12 parishes, 28 neighborhoods, 4,916 girls, boys and adolescents, and 3,040 families.
