Project narrative

On March 10, 2015, during a visit to the Overseas Chinese School in Athens, Greece, officials from the Consular Department of the Chinese Embassy in Athens, Greece donated "cultural and sports supplies" to the students. The supplies included painting supplies, jump ropes, and badminton equipment. According to the Embassy, the purpose of the visit and the gift was to demonstrate the Chinese government's support of overseas Chinese education, spread Chinese culture, and "strengthen the cultivation of students' patriotism and national pride".
