Project narrative

On December 15th, 2021, the Chinese Ambassador to Cuba, Ma Hui, signed over to the Cuban Minister of Public Health, Jose Miranda, a check for $100,000 USD. The donation ceremony took place at the Cuban Ministry of Public Health building in Havana, Cuba. Ambassador Ma and Minister Miranda noted that the donation will be used by the Ministry of Public Health to acquire essential supplies that will contribute to the work of preventing and controlling COVID-19. The Chinese government also made a donation of COVID supplies on the same day (see Record ID#91556).
