Project narrative

On 12 May 2020, the International Liaison Department of the Chinese Communist Party donated its fifth shipment of anti-pandemic materials to the government of Venezuela on behalf of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela. The donations amounted to 46 tons of supplies and included more than 3.8 million masks, more than 80,000 diagnostic tests, 51,000 protective suits, 11,000 disposable gloves and 3,000 protective glasses, among other materials. The materials will be used in Venezuela's fight against Covid-19 and the donation represents cooperation and partnership between China and Venezuela.
