The Confucius Classroom at Djanogly City Academy was established in 2007. The Confucius Institute Headquarters (Hanban) awarded the Confucius Classroom status in recognition of the school's achievements in Chinese language and culture education, providing Djanogly City Academy with a grant. According to the school’s Facebook post, the Confucius Classroom was to end in September 2013.
