Project narrative

On September 10, 2020, the Chinese Government provided anti-epidemic materials to the government of Botswana. These materials will be used for COVID-19 prevention efforts in Botswana. The specific amount and monetary value of this donation are unknown. A handover ceremony was held for this donation. China’s Ambassador to Botswana, Zhao Yanbo, the Minister of Presidential Affairs, Kabo Morwaeng, Deputy Minister of Presidential Affairs, Dumezweni Mthimkhulu, and Minister of Health Dr. Edwin Dikoloti attended the ceremony.
