Project narrative

In 2015, Ningxia University and the University of Oman jointly established the "Key Laboratory of Resource Evaluation and Environmental Regulation in Arid Areas". The laboratory will be used for research and development of new products suitable for the needs and characteristics of Oman. The project included donations of technology and new equipment, a 150-square-meter laboratory, and a 200-mu demonstration base. The monetary value of Ningxia University's contribution to this project is unknown. Since the laboratory's establishment, advanced water-saving technology and equipment have been promoted in 13 farms. It is noted that the laboratory was established with the support of the China-Arab Technology Transfer Center.
