On April 28, 2020, 500 bags of food were delivered to the Colón District Mayor's Office by the Qingyuan Municipal Government of the People's Republic of China. These food bags will be distributed among families in need across different sectors, according to Alex Lee, the Mayor of the District of Colón, in the wake of the pandemic. The monetary value of this donation is unknown.
