Project narrative

On March 28, 2020, the 2nd shipment of anti-epidemic materials from China arrived in Venezuela. The donated materials amounted to 55 tons and included 500,000 Covid-19 rapid tests, 50,000 PCR test kits, ventilators to reinforce sentinel hospitals, 5 million masks, more than 100 isolation and protection suits for health personnel, safety glasses, gloves, slippers, as well as more than 70 thousand infrared thermometers. The shipment also included antivirals, sedatives, and more than 30 thousand units of Chloroquine. The donations arrived at Simon Bolivar International Airport.
