Project narrative

On September 30, 2015, Bank of China London Branch raised more than GBP 2,000 for charity while participating in the "City Giving Day" campaign initiated by the mayor of the City of London. During the event, BOC employees raised money by selling delicate cakes they baked and decorated by hand. The event included participation of over 200 companies with the final thank you reception being held at the Bank of China London Branch.

Staff comments

1. In official reports from BOC, the total indicated is over GBP 2,000, but the final donated amount is listed at EUR 4,000 in the testimonial in the 2016 City Giving Day brochure. Coder has chosen to list the amount as GBP 2,000 to be consistent with BOC records.
