Project narrative

According to the Government of Ethiopia’s Aid Management Platform (AMP), on May 4, 2014, the Chinese Government and the Government of Ethiopia signed a grant agreement worth ETB 52,893,591 for the acquisition of security inspection equipment. The grant proceeds were drawn from an Economic and Technical Cooperation Agreement (ECTA) that the parties signed on August 15, 2011. The purpose of the project was to acquire security inspection equipment. There is no evidence in the AMP that this grant ever disbursed.
