The Confucius Classroom at New Zealand College of Chinese Medicine was established on May 17, 2017. The Confucius Institute Headquarters (Hanban) awarded the Confucius Classroom status in recognition of the school's achievements in Chinese language and culture education, providing New Zealand College of Chinese Medicine with a grant. It was the 12th Confucius Classroom to be established in Auckland. The original Confucius Institute project is tracked under Record ID#44178.
