Project narrative

The Confucius Classroom at Wellington East Girls’ College was established in August 2015. The Confucius Institute Headquarters (Hanban) awarded the Confucius Classroom status in recognition of the school's achievements in Chinese language and culture education, providing Wellington East Girls’ College with a grant. The classroom was officially opened on May 10, 2016. The original Confucius Institute project is tracked under Record ID#44176.
