Project narrative

On December 11th, 2020, The handover ceremony of the emergency humanitarian aid supplies from the Chinese Embassy in Madagascar to the southern region of Madagascar was held at the Prime Minister's Office. The donations included 15 tons of koba, 15 tons of cracked corn, 2.5 tons of white beans, 6 500-liter water tanks, 200 20-liter buckets, 5,000 plates, and 5,000 scoops.The Chinese Ambassador to Madagascar, Guo Xiaomei, Prime Minister Entsai of Madagascar, and Minister of Water Affairs and Cleansing of Malagasy, Racutuveluma Nanchua, attended the ceremony. The donations will be distributed through the National Office of Risk and Disaster Management (French: Bureau National de Gestion des Risques et Catastrophes), the national disaster-management office.
